

LENDLEASE’S Spring Retirement Festival returns to the Sunshine Coast for the 7th consecutive year with an impressive line-up of free headline musical acts over the next few weeks.
Acclaimed act Swingin’ Martinis will perform an afternoon of hits at Allora Gardens in Maroochydore (Allora Drive) today, September 28, from 2-4pm.
Australia’s Boys of Motown will bring their unique blend of soul music, cabaret and dancing to audiences at the Hibiscus Buderim Meadows (Karawatha Drive) next Wednesday, October 3, from 6-7.30pm.
At Hibiscus Nambour, Brisbane-based Sakura Duo will take the stage to deliver a high-energy, dancefloor-inducing brand of world music next Thursday, October 4,from 2-4pm.
To close out the festival, The Kitty Kats will host an afternoon of swing, blues, cabaret, rockabilly – and everything in between – at Buderim Gardens (Mooloolaba Rd) on Thursday, October 11, from 6-7.30pm.
These events are part of Lendlease’s annual Spring Retirement Festival, which will see 12 free events – from musical performances, wine tasting, gardening workshops to painting classes – hosted at Lendlease villages across Queensland.
This year’s Spring Retirement Festival will feature more than 60 events nationally. The festival runs until October 20.
Lendlease offers these events for free for guests over 55 but the popularity of the festival means bookings are essential.
